Petr Prášek is a member of the Department of Contemporary Continental Philosophy, Institute of Philosophy, Czech Academy of Sciences. He helds a Ph.D. in Philosophy awarded by Charles University in Prague and Université Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne (“doctorat en co-tutelle”). His doctoral thesis „Le devenir-autre de l’existence. Essai sur la phénoménologie contemporaine“ (The Becoming-Other of the Existence. Essay on Contemporary Phenomenology) was awarded Bolzano Prize by the President of Charles University in 2020.
