Abstract
Imagine a hall with standing room only as B.F. Skinner – staunch proponent of radically deterministic version of behaviorism – and Abraham Maslow – one of the fathers of humanistic psychology – debate their respective perspectives. Such a debate never did take place but, if it did, each eminent scholar might proclaim a paradigm with which the world of psychology was quite familiar.
