Abstract
The preceding four chapters have set out a phenomenological approach to several key issues in environmental philosophy. Yet the very notion of developing a phenomenological approach to such issues might seem wrong-headed. For it might seem that phenomenological approaches are inherently human-centred or anthropocentric and hence at odds with the concerns of environmental thinkers.
