The characteristics of some projects or systems seem to demand the transfer of knowledge in order to be able to handle and use them, and to minimize their negative long-term effects responsibly. If we accept this, the question for ethical norms of selection and transfer of knowledge becomes relevant. And knowledge grows. This thesis is accepted by many economists of science, knowledge sociologists and philosophers of science. If endless growth is impossible in a world of limited resources, and if one needs resources in order to preserve knowledge, than it could well become necessary to selectively preserve knowledge in the future. In this situation, I would like to propose to discuss apart from economic criteria of knowledge selection and transference ethical ones.
