Abstract
The children whose experiences in the Buddhist R.I. classes are described in this chapter were in Years 5 and 6 at an inner-metropolitan state school. Twenty-two had enrolled in the class and apart from two new students, they had all been in Buddhist classes before. Eight of the Year 6s had been with their teacher Helen the year before and were used to the Happiness Scale routine.
