Abstract
The "Five Relationships' 五倫 (wu lun), namely those between ruler and minister, father and son, husband and wife, older and younger sibling, and elder friend and younger friend, provide the core interpersonal structures upon which Confucian philosophers have constructed a great deal of their social ethics.
