The unknown as an engine of science
a summary
pp. 119-123
Abstract
A common theme of this essay has been how close major portions of our knowledge lie to the borders of the indefinite. In Chap. 4, 'soft" and "hard" methods of dealing with indefiniteness were discussed. In this chapter we give our conclusions.
