Freedom and indeterminism

Daniel Shaw

pp. 17-29

Abstract

The main aim of this paper is to raise objections against Indeterminism as an attempted solution to the problem of Freedom and Determinism. But before presenting this negative argument, I shall first attempt to state the problem of Freedom and Determinism as I see it, to summarise the three standard approaches to the problem and to say where I think the true solution lies.
