Finding places in a changing education landscape
pp. 55-63
Abstract
In these first decades of the twenty-first century education in Australia is experiencing many changes at both state and national levels. This Buddhist program was inaugurated in a prevailing political climate that brought values to the fore in education. There was a significant drift of students into private (religious) schools that deemed calls for the overhaul or abolishment of religious classes politically imprudent.
